Free School Supply Giveaway Events Across Tacoma
This month, community organizations across Tacoma are hosting free back-to-school events for students and families. Check out the schedule below to learn more. We will continue to add event information as we get details.
Back to School Bash
Life Center church is hosting a back-to-school event where they'll have free backpacks, haircuts, carnival games and food.
When: August 15, 2026 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Stuff the Bus Block Party
Communities in Schools is hosting a free school supply giveaway event for Pierce County students.
When: August 25, 2026 from 2:30 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Kids Health & Safety Fair
Join the Tacoma Police Department for their annual Kids Health and Safety Fair where they'll have free dental cleanings, vision and hearing screenings, backpacks with school supplies, and more.
